The great fortunes of the planet, those that appear on the Forbes 2020 List, have also been affected by the pandemic.  But the world’s richest have responded to the coronavirus with exceptional donations and action.  Thanks to the real time counter of the publication we can know how the ranking is going.  And it’s not very different from 2019. Jeff Bezos, who opens a mansion in Beverly Hills, repeats first position for the third consecutive year, picking up the baton from Bill Gates (who stopped holding the first position in 2017 after donating part of his fortune  and that now occupies the second position).  Of course, Jeff Bezos’ fortune is only growing and he is about to become the first human with a fortune of more than 200,000 million: on July 13, 2020, Jeff Bezos set a new record for his assets: 189,200  million was the fortune calculated by the real-time index of millionaires on the Forbes List.  The richest man in Spain, Amancio Ortega, oscillates between fifth and sixth place, depending on the day, which is why he is Galician.
