How to create an Outlook account
Step by Step
First, you will have to open the Microsoft Outlook web page in a browser. Click ‘create account’ on the right side of the page. Then, you will have to create your email address by writing your name in the ‘new email’ section. Also, you can choose the domain of your email address by clicking on the drop-down menu.
Next, you must enter a password. Enter the password you want to use in the ‘create password’ section below the ‘new email’ field. Make sure your password includes both letters and numbers. Afterwards, you will have to uncheck the box ‘send me promotional emails from Microsoft’ if you do not wish to receive product offers.
Then you will have to click on ‘next’. It’s a blue button that will appear below the text box. When you have completed this step, you must write your name and surname. Press the ‘next’ button, also located below the text fields.
After performing these steps you must select a country or region. Click on the ‘country’ drop-down box and then tap on your current location. However, Outlook may automatically detect and complete this information. Next you will have to enter your date of birth in the ‘date of birth’ section. You must select the month of your birth, the day and the year.
Click ‘next’ and then enter the verification code. You will see a list of letters and numbers out of order in a box, and you will have to write the content in the section ‘enter the characters you see’. You can generate a new code by pressing the ‘new’ button or clicking the ‘audio’ button to have the code read aloud.
Finally, you must click on ‘next’. If you have completed all the steps and entered the verification code correctly, clicking should create your account. You already have an Outlook email account!
