Analyst Kuo Forecasts Apple News for 2021 | Digital Trends Spanish
Apple’s AirTag tags were expected in 2020, but they did not arrive. The latest rumors point to its launch in spring 2021. That’s what youtuber Jon Prosser says, who has shared a video confirming the design of these rival trackers from the manufacturer Tile. These small locating devices are used to find objects such as keys, glasses, a phone, a backpack or a wallet through an application on the phone.
In the video (minute 6) you can see a 3D animation of this product during the pairing process with an iPhone or iPad. It shows a round design with a white base and on it a silver piece, similar to a typical watch battery, with the Apple logo also printed in white, that is, with the bitten apple. It is not the first time that the appearance of the AirTags has been shown, Prosser himself has already revealed the design in a 3D render.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his accurate leaks on Apple products, also points to the launch of AirTags by 2021 although he does not specify when exactly, according to a new report published by MacRumors. In this document he dares to forecast the launches of the Cupertino multinational for this year.
Among the novelties, Kuo affirms that Apple will present in 2021 an augmented reality device, either a helmet or glasses or both, as well as the first products with Mini-LED screen technology and Apple Silicon (the ARM processors), such as a 16-inch and 14-inch MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air. Kuo’s predictions also point to new AirPods, and a redesigned 24-inch iMac and a smaller Mac Pro-like computer.
