MotorTech: Hyundai Sonata N Line, comfort and sportiness | Digital Trends Spanish

This week at Motortech we tested the Hyundai Sonata N Line, a sportier, more agile and aggressive version of the standard sedan of the South Korean brand.

The Hyundai Sonata N Line is a vehicle designed for daily use, in addition, it combines a pleasant interior and a sporty appearance that give it a more youthful touch. The upholstery of the seats is leather and fabric with red stitching.

On the outside it offers a modern and sporty silhouette, which includes the striking and characteristic headlights of this model, LED lights and 19-inch wheels. At the rear there is a spoiler on the trunk lid. Although it may not be to everyone’s taste, it is an innovative and modern design.

Benefits

The driver’s seat can be adapted to different positions, which provides greater safety when, for example, cornering at high speed.

It has a sports steering wheel that is comfortable to grip, multifunction buttons and paddles to make changes with details that give it a sporty touch.

The 12.3-inch dashboard is 100 percent digital. It is accompanied by a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen that, despite being located on the dash, integrates into the interior design of the car, so that all functions are within easy reach of the driver.

Other interior features include a wireless charger, 12.5V connectors and USB ports, as well as a premium Bose audio system with 12 speakers and a subwoofer.

Hyundai has worked the suspension on the Sonata Line N – it feels like a firm and stable car. It offers a good reaction when driving, without losing its smoothness. During our test, the outside noises went unnoticed. A balance between comfort and sportiness.

In terms of safety, consider automatic braking, lane change control, adaptive cruise speed, pedestrian detection, among other elements.

Performance

The Hyundai Sonata N Line offers four driving modes: normal, sport and sport plus, in addition to a custom one.

Under the hood it is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which delivers 980 horsepower, a power that is sufficient for the size and weight of the vehicle. All of this is complemented by an eight-speed gearbox.

As for fuel economy, the manufacturer claims that it is capable of delivering 27 miles per gallon (11.5 kilometers per liter).

The vehicle sells for $ 34,700 in the United States.
