Ubisoft delays remake of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time | Digital Trends Spanish
E3 is just around the corner and it will be Saturday when Ubisoft starts the round of announcements with its UbiForward presentation, which we already know will be the stage to learn more about the expected Rainbow Six Extraction. Now, the French distributor confirmed that another of its most anticipated games, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, he won’t be in the show.
Through a message on Twitter, developers Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai shared the following message:

“Ubisoft Forward is just around the corner, so we take this moment to thank you for the immense support you gave us last year.
“Possibly they already know, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake it will not be in Ubisoft Forward. We are progressing in the development of the game and it will be ready next year, but for now we cannot share any more information. We will give more details as soon as possible.
“Until then, we want to express our appreciation for your continued support and patience in this development. We look forward to the time to share more news with you! “
The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake It was announced by Ubisoft in September 2020. Initially, the title was scheduled to debut in January of this year on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as the Nintendo Switch and PC, however, its release was indefinitely delayed in February. Now, fans of one of the most popular games in the Prince of Persia series will have to wait for sometime in 2022 to play it.
While the news of its delay might disappoint some fans, the UbiForward conference will surely be full of announcements, including the reveal of the first official gameplay of the long-awaited Rainbow Six Extraction.
