Liam Neeson talks about rumors that link him to the Obi-Wan series | Digital Trends Spanish

This week, actor Liam Neeson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show to talk about his upcoming movie. The Ice Road, telling some anecdotes and experiences around the new film.

The invitation also served for the interpreter to respond to the doubts of the fans (and of Kimmel himself) who wanted to know whether or not Neeson will definitely appear in the new series about Obi-Wan Kenobi that Disney Plus is preparing.

In January, the actor was open to returning as Qui-Gon for this upcoming job, which is currently in the filming phase.

However, now the Irishman rules out any approach with the production of the series for an eventual appearance.

Neeson explained that he still has a couple of action movies to make. When asked if one of his future projects could be related to the Star Wars universe, the actor assured that nobody has offered him anything, even joking with the fact that Disney could not afford to have him and Ewan McGregor together in the distribution.

“I heard that Ewan McGregor was going to do a series,” he explains.

“No I dont think so. No, they have not contacted me. They don’t have enough money, “he added while making a hand gesture simulating money.

In response, Kimmel noted that an actor as good as Liam Neeson “could easily be lying.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi will bring back Hayden Christensen, who played Darth Vader in the prequels, as well as Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as Luke’s adoptive parents.
